In standard protein removal procedures, phospholipids present in plasma remain in the sample as interfering substances. However, by processing with "Captiva ND Lipids," both proteins and phospholipids can be removed simultaneously. This reduces ionization suppression caused by proteins while also minimizing ionization suppression due to phospholipids, allowing for more accurate results. If phospholipids cannot be completely removed, the ionization suppression effect becomes very pronounced.
