The powder flexible joint ConnflexⓇ developed by the Swiss powder equipment manufacturer Zimmermann Verfahrenstechnik is available. It is made from materials that excel in chemical resistance, heat resistance, and pressure resistance, and we can design products tailored to customer specifications and existing equipment, including size and connection parts (JIS standards). The flexible component materials include PTFE, polyurethane, and FEP. The standard material for the connecting parts is SUS316L, with Hastelloy available as an option.

The Earth-RiteⓇ series, an earth monitoring system from Newson Gale in the UK, has added the Earth-RiteⓇ FIBC for Type C flexible containers! Type C bags may lose their initial conductivity due to aging or friction from long-term use, posing a risk of static electricity hazards. The Earth-RiteⓇ FIBC continuously monitors the resistance of the Type C bags in use and alerts the operator if the resistance exceeds 10MΩ (or 100MΩ, which can be selected). Additionally, it is possible to set an interlock to force the system to stop in case of an emergency.

The LACT unit, skid, and IBC (metal container) that come into contact with charged liquids may accumulate dangerous levels of static electricity on conductive metal bodies. If static electricity accumulates on an ungrounded object, the object's charge voltage can rise sharply, posing a risk of static sparks. The energy at that time may exceed the minimum ignition energy of various flammable gases and vapors. Earth-Rite PLUS ensures grounding of IBCs and drums with two systems: "interlock" and "indicator (display)." By using it, static charges can be safely removed, preventing ignition due to static discharge, and continuously monitoring grounding resistance values to eliminate ignition risks during operation.

The Earth-Rite Multipoint2 from NewsonGale (UK) is an excellent product that monitors the grounding to ensure that static electricity generated during powder handling is effectively prevented. When the ground connection is interrupted during cleaning or disassembly, it is essential that it is reliably re-grounded during reassembly. By using the Earth-Rite Multipoint2, it is possible to monitor the grounding of up to eight points simultaneously. If proper grounding is not achieved, the interlock mechanism detects the hazard and ensures that the system does not operate. This helps prevent serious industrial accidents caused by human error.
