The CR-7000 is a fully rugged managed Gigabit Ethernet switch specially designed to operate reliably in harsh military environments (altitude, shock, vibration, wide temperature ranges, humidity, exposure to dust and water, noisy EMI, dirty power, etc.). This platform is a switch for military applications constrained by space, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) on military vehicles.

MIL-STD-810 is a laboratory testing standard that simulates harsh environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, altitude, vibration, shock, and water resistance for U.S. defense equipment. It is not necessary to conduct tests for all items; instead, the test items and content can be selected based on the environmental specifications required for the product being used. It is common to list the Method number, Procedure number, and a brief test value of the items that passed the MIL-STD-810 tests in the environmental performance section of the data sheet. A clear explanation with illustrations will be provided.

MIL-STD-461 is a military standard that establishes the limits and test procedures for electromagnetic interference (EMI) in military equipment. EMI consists of unwanted signals, or "noise," generated by electronic devices. Controlling EMI is extremely important in military applications, as it can cause interference with other equipment or lead to detection by the enemy. The IP standard is a system that represents the protection levels against the ingress of foreign solid objects and water. These standards will be explained clearly with illustrations.

The ESW4101 from Mildef is a rugged 19"/2® Ethernet switch that complies with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461. It features waterproof MIL connectors and has an IPX7 waterproof rating. The CM-6221 is a robust video processing unit equipped with managed gigabit and 10 gigabit Ethernet switches and a 2x CPU/GPU platform. It is designed to operate reliably in harsh environments, compliant with IP65, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-1275 standards. It features two video processing CPUs and GPUs. CPU1 is an Intel i7-13800, equipped with up to 64GB of RAM and 256GB of system storage. CPU2 is an Intel i7-8665, also with up to 64GB of RAM and 256GB of system storage. The GPU is an NVIDIA A2000i GPU (2.3 TFLOPS each). The two GPUs each provide two identical DVI outputs. It includes a Layer 2/3 gigabit switch, optionally supporting PTP 1588GMC, and can use an external time source (GNSS receiver) from RS422 or PPS input as a time base. Optionally, it can be equipped with two external high-capacity storage devices, each ranging from 1 to 2TB.

The SNxr1200 is a next-generation firewall developed for harsh environments in defense applications, providing the advanced security required for communications. It maximally protects the most sensitive communications through secure storage of confidential information, IPS analysis of VPN flows, and compliance with Restricted Distribution (RD) mode. The SNxr1200 firewall offers optimal service continuity with features such as redundant access links and communication flow management. It has environmental performance compliant with MIL-STD-810G / MIL-STD-461F / DO-160G / IP67, with an operating temperature range of -40° to +71°C, and can withstand harsh environments including vibration, shock, electromagnetic waves, high humidity, high altitude, water, dust, and salt spray.
