The HSDC&HRDC series is a compact tracking synchro/resolver digital converter equipped with programmable resolution, 8/16-bit data bus control, continuous built-in self-test reporting, and a forced angle test mode, used for functional verification by command in military and industrial applications. Models are available with low-cost differential inputs or internal transformer-isolated inputs for military and the most demanding industrial applications. External signal conditioning, critical dynamics, front-end components, and circuits are not required. The HSDC/HRDC series accepts direct field voltage synchro or resolver inputs and converts them into real-time accurate natural binary digital data available via a selectable 8-bit or 16-bit data bus. Offered as a complete plug-in solution, it guarantees accuracy and performance from field signals to digital users. All units come with printed test data.

The DSL/DRL series is a digital synchro and digital resolver (AC sine/cosine) converter designed for military and industrial control applications, featuring high reliability, compact size, slim profile, and low cost. It accepts natural binary angle data of 16, 14, 12, or 10 bits (unsigned integers) and converts it into a three-wire synchro or four-wire resolver data format with up to 2 arc minutes of accuracy. All of these synchro and resolver converters feature virtually indestructible short-circuit resistant outputs, overvoltage and transient protection, internal heat sinks, current limiting, and automatic thermal cutoff. Complete transformer isolation is provided for all reference inputs and signal outputs, eliminating ground loops and different potentials, ensuring that high-voltage transients do not affect the host systems in which they are employed.

The TSLD/TRLD converter uses an internal solid-state Type II servo loop to continuously convert rotary shaft input into a precise (real-time) linear DC voltage (or 4-20mA current) that directly corresponds to the position of the input shaft. The internal Type II servo loop provides both dynamic, lag-free response (high speed) and clear, ultra-stable output as it approaches zero speed input or at zero speed input. The converter naturally maintains a maximum ripple of 5 millivolts (DC output), so filtering is neither adopted nor required. Therefore, it provides a continuous clean and jitter-free output suitable for use in many variable speed applications. Through ratiometric conversion, synchro/resolver sensors can operate at temperatures ranging from -20 to +125°C without degradation of output.
