All steel materials used are made in Japan, and we perform vacuum hardening and sub-zero treatment at -185°C (for SKS precision vices and stainless steel vices). It is made of a thin tape with special markings (the markings convert the circumference size to diameter), allowing for precise measurement of the diameter simply by wrapping it around the object. The standard pipe tape for measuring outer diameters up to 3,600 mm guarantees an accuracy of ±0.03 mm. All pipe tapes are calibrated before shipment and come with an English calibration certificate and inspection report, as well as an English traceability diagram.
