ABS is resistant to acids and alkalis, and has been adopted for liquid filter components. It can also accommodate fine shapes such as the mesh of the filter.
ABS has the mechanical properties of three types of plastics: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. It is characterized by heat resistance, mechanical strength, oil resistance, impact resistance, gloss, good moldability and workability, and excellent electrical properties. Additionally, it can be colored in almost any color for plating or painting.
