No. 643 Drop Weight Impact Testing Machine This is an instrumented impact testing machine that simultaneously measures the force and displacement of impact failure, allowing for the evaluation of the impact failure characteristics of plate-like materials such as plastics by measuring maximum impact force, displacement at maximum impact force, energy at maximum impact force, and puncture energy. 【Features】 (1) By changing test conditions such as the weight of the drop weight and the height of the drop, free fall tests can be conducted to detect impact force, displacement, and duration of action. (2) The impact velocity of free fall can be adjusted in the range of 1.40 to 5.05 m/s depending on the height of the drop weight. (3) The control unit can be connected to a PC to send test results to a spreadsheet software worksheet. (4) Test conditions can be input and test results can be checked on the touch panel of the control unit. (5) By equipping an acceleration device using springs (optional), impact tests can be conducted at higher speeds (1.40 to 16.00 m/s) than free fall. (6) When a sample holding device (optional) is installed, it can automatically press the sample when the door is closed, allowing tests to be conducted with the sample fixed in place.
