Shellac is obtained by extracting and refining the raw material "seedlac" through methods such as heat melting, alkaline extraction, and solvent extraction. At Koyo Chemical Co., we offer a variety of products, primarily "refined shellac" that has been purified to high quality using solvent extraction, and "white shellac" that has been bleached using alkaline extraction.
