[Solution Case] Development of Sintered Bodies of Conductive Ceramics and Metals

Considering the required characteristics as appropriate, optimize the selection of raw materials, mixing, and sintering conditions for development and manufacturing.

Alumina ceramics cannot be sealed using a bonding method like glass, so instead, a method is generally employed where frit glass is melted and poured into the small gap between the electrode and the valve to seal it. Therefore, the electrode materials in the sealing area require conductivity, high-temperature resistance, and halogen resistance, and it is also necessary to ensure that there is an appropriate thermal expansion coefficient relationship between the frit glass, alumina valve, and electrode. Considering the required characteristics of alumina powder and Mo powder (or W powder), the selection of raw materials, mixing, and sintering conditions are optimized to develop and manufacture conductive materials. When the melted frit glass flows into the small gap (capillary) due to capillary action, factors such as the surface roughness of the developed materials are also taken into account, and processes like centerless grinding are performed for finishing. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.*

[Material Presentation] Rubber × Resin Cross-linked Composite Material 'Radicalock'

Introducing the composite material 'Radicalock(R)', which firmly bonds rubber and plastic using a bridge lock without the use of adhesives!

"Radicalock(R)" is a formulated rubber made by adding auxiliary materials and additives to peroxide-crosslinked synthetic rubber such as EPDM and silicone rubber, and then mixing it with a crosslinking reaction accelerator for plastics. It utilizes the technology of direct adhesion between plastics and rubber developed by Daicel Evonik Co., Ltd. Through the chemical reactions occurring in a mold loaded with plastic components, molecular chains (crosslinking chains) are formed at the interface between the rubber and plastic, creating a strong bond. 【Features】 ■ Solves adhesive problems ■ Usable with plastics ■ Simplifies the manufacturing process *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Presentation of Materials: Benefits of Rubber × Resin Cross-linked Composite Material "Radicalock"

Introducing the manufacturing technology 'Radicalock(R)' that strongly bonds plastic and rubber without using adhesives!

"Rajikarokku" is a technology that firmly bonds rubber and plastic, which are difficult to adhere using adhesives or double-sided tape, through direct chemical bonding to create composite materials. It applies the rubber crosslinking reaction using peroxides for the bonding of rubber and plastic. At the interface between rubber and plastic, the molecular chains of rubber and plastic are crosslinked. This also contributes to the simplification of the manufacturing process, eliminating the need for steps required in traditional adhesive processes, such as surface roughening, degreasing, primer application, and adhesive application, leading to a reduction in manufacturing time and improvement in yield. [Features] - Capable of bonding silicone and nylon - Adhesive strength exceeding the tensile strength of rubber - No concerns about solvent odor, degradation peeling, or reduction in physical properties - No need for adhesive application or alignment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
