By processing with sleeves and the like, the fluidity of the material is improved. When treated in the mold, the reduction in molten temperature is suppressed, contributing to carbon neutrality.
The "OXISO treatment" is a surface modification technology that combines our unique precision shot peening "OX-FSP" and special polishing processing "OX-Polish."
【Effects of OXISO Treatment】
1. Reduction of peeling
Reduces the occurrence of peeling on the product surface caused by double flow of molten metal.
2. Reducing voids
Improves the flow of molten metal, thereby reducing the occurrence of voids and shrinkage cavities.
3. Prevention of galling
The uneven surface of the mold due to FSP treatment enhances cooling effects, which suppresses galling and seizure by improving the retention of release agents.
4. Measures against melting
In addition to improved flow characteristics from FSP treatment, applying OX-COAT after FSP significantly enhances resistance to adhesion.
5. Delaying the occurrence of heat cracks
FSP treatment refines the crystal grains of the mold, delaying oxidation at the grain boundaries, enabling measures against thermal fatigue through residual compressive stress and increased hardness.
6. Measures against stress corrosion cracking
By increasing the fatigue strength of the inner diameter while maintaining high hardness in the mold's water passage, this technology suppresses the occurrence of cracks from the inside, extending the mold's lifespan.
★ As efforts toward carbon neutrality become increasingly necessary, this technology is expected to provide low friction and energy-saving effects.
