The "ICP-COA process" is a low film thickness Ni-P/Au plating process that utilizes a reducing cobalt catalyst. This process consists of a reducing cobalt catalyst solution "ICP Accel COA" and an electroless Ni-P plating for cobalt catalysts "ICP Nicoron COA-GM." In conventional processes using palladium, the copper material corrodes during the catalyst application step, leading to the formation of voids between the copper material and the plating film, which has been a challenge. In this process, a uniform catalyst film can be formed through reduction deposition, enabling the reduction of the film thickness of electroless nickel plating (electroless nickel plating thickness: conventional process: 3.0µm, ICP-COA process: 0.5µm). Furthermore, since a void-free and well-covered film can be obtained, it is possible to reduce the film thickness of electroless Ni plating without compromising solder joint reliability.

The world's first amorphous chrome "Cloamor" is a chromium-based alloy plating that contains 2-4% carbon. Despite its thin film thickness of 3-4μ, it boasts high hardness and excellent wear resistance. 【Features】 ● It has an amorphous structure, exhibiting different properties compared to conventional crystalline structure plating. ● Through heat treatment, its hardness can reach a maximum of Hv 1,800, which is about twice that of hard chrome plating. ● In comparison to hard chrome plating, which rapidly softens at 400°C and only has a hardness of about Hv 200 at 600°C, once hardened, Cloamor maintains a hardness of Hv 1,000 even at 600°C, demonstrating excellent heat resistance. ● Due to the influence of the oxide film present on the surface, it has superior wear resistance compared to standard chrome plating. ● With no cracks present up to approximately 5μm in thickness, it exhibits good corrosion resistance. ● It has about 3 to 6 times the corrosion resistance against chemicals such as hydrochloric acid compared to hard chrome plating. ● Its thin film thickness of 3-4μ allows for functional enhancement of the base material without compromising precision. It demonstrates excellent effectiveness in fields requiring strict precision, such as semiconductor encapsulation molds and various precision components.

The pearlescent finish is a finishing method that creates a surface state with unevenness, known as "pearlescent," by physically striking particles such as alumina sand against the surface of the item. (It is also referred to as matte.) By changing the grit of the sand or the plating method, it is possible to create surfaces with various roughness, from fine to coarse. Our pearlescent rolls are widely used in the casting rolls of matte finish film manufacturing lines and in cooling rolls that prioritize release properties. Unlike the surface of a buff finish, which has a fine surface roughness, the pearlescent finish creates unevenness by physically roughening the surface, allowing for a relatively inexpensive improvement in the release properties between the item and the parts. Additionally, by combining pearlescent processing with special plating, it is also possible to adjust both roughness and glossiness simultaneously. Furthermore, if you want to improve release properties while maintaining the gloss of the film, we also offer a semi-matte finish that cuts only the tops of the pearlescent texture while leaving the pockets intact.
