High-temperature embossing & narrowing
High-temperature embossing & napping
~High-temperature embossing and nailing processing that adds functionality to films~ High-temperature embossing allows for the creation of small embossed patterns across the entire surface of the film using heated rolls. Depending on the shape of the heated rolls, it can be applied fully, partially, or in a stepped manner. The process of embossing near the edge of the film is called nailing. The characteristic of this processing is that the edges become elevated due to the embossing, which protects the central part of the film. It is also effective in addressing gauge band issues that arise over time. ≪Features≫ - Embossing can be applied to the entire surface of high-temperature resistant PI (polyimide) films. - Nailing is effective for gauge band countermeasures. *For more details, please check 'Request for Materials' or 'Catalog Download.'*
