[Case Study of Steel Rack Implementation] Garage of a Private Home
Firmly secured by driving "anchor bolts" into the floor! An example of measures taken to prevent tipping over.
At the request of Company K, we assembled and installed lightweight and medium-duty steel racks (load capacity of 200kg per shelf) delivered to a private residence's garage. In this instance, five steel racks were purchased, and each was installed as a 2-unit and 3-unit connection. By connecting three units side by side, we were able to reduce the number of support posts to eight, which not only lightens the overall weight of the structure due to the reduced number of components but also keeps the cost lower. Additionally, as a measure to prevent tipping due to earthquakes and other factors, we secured the racks to the floor with anchors, further enhancing the sturdiness of our already robust commercial steel racks.
