Surface Roughness Comparison This is a comparison table of surface roughness for each cutting count in our wire cut machine, the HB series. - The first cut has a roughness of about Rz22. - Multi-cut (multiple processing) achieves a roughness of about Rz4.8. 2. Multi-Cut in the HB Series While it is slightly inferior to brass wire cutting, the multi-cut (multiple processing) guarantees a precision of ±0.01. The HB series machine is themed around "speed and cost-effectiveness," so if ±0.01 is sufficient for your wire processing needs, we recommend this machine.
