We would like to introduce a case study of the coating of the inner and outer surfaces of seawater pipes on vessels of the Fisheries Agency. In this case, prior to nylon coating, corrosion protection for the iron components was done using plating or painting. Due to the harsh environment of seawater flowing through the pipes, the seawater pipes would corrode during a single voyage from departure to return, necessitating frequent replacement of parts. We would like to introduce the appearance of our nylon coating technology's weather resistance test samples after washing with water. In the samples tested since 2013, dirt due to aging is noticeable, but after washing with water, most of the dirt was removed. The product maintains an appearance that is comparable to when it was first completed. We would like to introduce the condition of our nylon coating technology's weather resistance test samples. Both the nipple + fittings and the gas line pipe have been in place for several years, and there are no tears or delamination on the coated surfaces. We conducted a cleaning verification of the "GKU = Gasron Supply Unit" installed at our factory. The GKU in question was installed in 2013, and we selected one that had not been wiped down for over six months. We used lukewarm water and a sponge purchased from a 100 yen shop. Surprisingly, just one pass was enough to wipe away the dirt from the coated surface. The wiped surface maintains an appearance that is comparable to when it was first produced.
