The ISONITE treatment is a unique surface hardening method using low-temperature salt bath nitriding, widely applicable to carbon steel, low alloy steel, special steel, tool steel, high-speed steel, stainless steel, various cast irons, and iron-based sintered metals. The robust wear resistance created by the ISONITE treatment, the significant improvement in fatigue resistance by up to 100% in low carbon steel, the ability to withstand lubrication shortages and high-temperature wear, resistance to galling and seizure, maintenance of dimensional accuracy, and excellent performance that prevents peeling during molding and bending processes further enhance the characteristics of carbon steel, low alloy steel, special steel, tool steel, high-speed steel, stainless steel, various cast irons, and iron-based sintered metals, compensating for their shortcomings and meeting a wide range of technical demands. Black oxidation treatment is a process that forcibly oxidizes the surface of steel components in an alkaline bath to create a film of magnetite (Fe₃O₄) with a thickness of 1 to 3 μm. This film not only has a beautiful black color, providing aesthetic effects for decorative purposes, but also exhibits excellent rust prevention properties. Black oxidation treatment can be performed relatively easily, making it widely used across various fields. ■ Features The rust prevention effect of the film is superior to that of zinc or nickel plating and is comparable to cadmium plating.
