Additionally, if the workpiece is thin and light, there can be a phenomenon where it sticks to the upper side. This can be mitigated by performing groove processing on the upper pad. In flat grinding, it may be common to perform maintenance on the PAD using a dresser, but surprisingly few places actually measure and manage the values.
