0613 Elimination of potassium sulfate bridge

Air ON with the Brodisk at a time delay! Introducing a case that resolved a problem in one shot.

We received a consultation regarding a problem where a bridge occurs in the newly introduced air transport tank. The equipment flow is "air transport → dust collector → hopper → rotary valve → screw feeder," and even when poked with a stick, it only creates a hole and does not come out easily, resulting in a situation where it took a long time to finally resolve. Therefore, we installed a total of 8 Brody disks (BD-15) in 2 tiers. This completely resolved the issue. 【Case Summary】 ■ Equipment Flow: Air transport → dust collector → hopper → rotary valve → screw feeder ■ Problem Situation - Bridging in the hopper - Does not come out easily even when poked with a stick (only creates a hole) - Takes a long time to finally resolve *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0624 At the de-salting device for incineration exhaust gas

Examples of our equipment being widely adopted in various fields using quicklime, other chemicals, fly ash, etc.!

We will introduce an example of how we resolved a problem with the discharge of descaling agents from the flue gas treatment silo of the incinerator. Initially, there were no issues when receiving the agent from the tank truck into the storage silo, but as the storage volume decreased to a certain extent, it formed a rat hole and stopped discharging. By installing eight standard blow discs (BD-15) and using a controller (C-SV4) with four built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for two blow discs at a time with a time delay, we achieved good results. [Challenges] - When the storage volume decreases to a certain extent, it forms a rat hole and stops discharging. - Although there are hammering devices and air aeration nozzles, they are ineffective in this condition. - Silo diameter is Ø2000. *For more detailed information about this case, please refer to the related links. *For more details, please check the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Our silicone disk is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0653 Improvement of calcium carbonate discharge issues

Easily solve powder bridging! We will introduce case studies of BroaDisk implementation.

Here is a case study of the introduction of the "Brodisk." We received an inquiry from a customer who was unable to naturally discharge the contents from the hopper and was addressing the issue by poking it from below with a stick. We collected the hopper drawings and a sample of the contents and presented a proposal for the introduction. The user's problem was resolved through the implementation. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Calcium carbonate (mainly granular, but also includes fine powder) ■ Hopper: Diameter Ø700, discharge 150A, eccentric hopper ■ Equipment Arrangement: A total of 4 units installed, with varying heights primarily on the steep incline Lower level - 1 unit; Middle level - 2 units; Upper level - 1 unit ■ Control: All 4 units simultaneously operated with air ON/OFF by a controller C-SV1 with 1 built-in solenoid valve. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0654 Solving the bridge of PET flakes

Easily solve powder bridging! We will inform you of a suitable implementation plan considering costs.

We would like to introduce case studies of the "Brodisk" and "Brodisk Mini." We received an inquiry stating that the discharge diameter of the hopper is small and materials are not flowing out. After confirming the hopper diagram and contents (in the photo), we provided recommendations for the model and layout. We received a request to borrow the Brodisk, and the product was sent. The customer conducted a confirmation test and decided to implement it due to the favorable results. [Case Overview] ■ Layout: Two Brodisk Minis placed near the discharge area, and two Brodisks positioned at a 45° rotation above them. ■ Control: A controller with one built-in solenoid valve allows for simultaneous air ON/OFF for a total of four Brodisks (Mini). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0655 Bridge measures for micro-sized resin powder.

Resolving blockages near the discharge section! Here is a case where the air ON frequency for the lower four units was increased.

We would like to introduce a case where a dust collector manufacturer has adopted the "Blow Disk." In this case, the manufacturer experienced bridging in the conical section of the dust collector, which made powder discharge difficult. Additionally, depending on the operating conditions of the equipment, a significant amount of material would sometimes accumulate in the cone section, which was also a contributing factor to the problem. In this instance, the frequency of air ON for the lower four out of eight installed Blow Disks has been increased. 【Case Overview】 ■ Model and Quantity: BD-15S-B, 8 units ■ Arrangement: 4 units arranged in 2 tiers ■ Control: The controller C-SV4, which incorporates 4 solenoid valves, sequentially turns ON the air for the 8 Blow Disks in pairs with a time delay. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disks in this equipment are exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use them, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available.
