Renewals and Changes to Collection and Transport Permits
SK-04 | Waste Management Act | Permit renewal, change notifications, scope change
For five-year renewals, notifications of vehicle or officer changes, and adding waste types. We manage the deadlines for you.
Industrial waste collection and transport permits must be renewed every five years. Osaka Prefecture accepts renewals from three months before expiry, and the validity of the training course certificate must also be checked. If the deadline passes, the permit lapses and you must start again with a new application. After the permit, changes such as adding vehicles or changing officers require notification (within 10 days of the change, or 30 days where a certificate of registered matters is attached). Adding waste types is not a notification but a permit for change of business scope. Missed notifications are sometimes discovered at renewal. We track your permit deadlines and planned changes together, and prepare renewal applications, change notifications and scope-change permit applications. Renewals of specially controlled industrial waste permits are also covered.
