The company was founded in 1996. Software for Mac/Windows such as AmpliTube, SampleTank, T-RackS, and MODO BASS is loved by many musicians and engineers. In 2010, they released the iOS version of AmpliTube and the iRig, establishing themselves as a standard guitar/bass effects and modeling system for iPhone and iPad. It also gained attention when AmpliTube was prominently featured in Apple’s iPhone and iPad TV commercials, advertisements, and posters. Since then, they have continued to provide numerous creative solutions, including the iLoud series of monitor speakers. In 2020, they announced the lightweight wearable device "Safe Spacer," which helps employees and visitors maintain a safe social distance in factories, warehouses, stores, and event spaces.
