[Blog] "The Possibilities of Automotive Development Expanding with LS-DYNA × AI" HPC Supporting Next-Generation CAE

In automotive development, CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) is widely used to enhance safety and performance. Among these, "crash analysis," which predicts the deformation, stress, and strain of the vehicle body during a collision, is crucial in the field of crash safety. The representative CAE software LS-DYNA allows for the setting of conditions such as body shape, materials, thickness, and collision speed to analyze the behavior during a crash. On the other hand, automotive development requires not just a single design proposal but also the comparison of numerous candidates, including materials, thickness, component shapes, and reinforcement positions. This is where the focus shifts to utilizing the analysis data accumulated in LS-DYNA to train AI, which can be used for predicting analysis results and screening design candidates. Rather than replacing CAE, combining CAE with AI has the potential to make the design review process more efficient. Furthermore, HPC (High Performance Computing) becomes essential as a foundation supporting CAE analysis, AI learning, and large-scale data processing.

Understanding the changes in fine magnetic domains and magnetic walls within magnetic materials to support the design of new magnetic devices.

[Nagoya] Aiming for Zero Rework in Automotive EMC Design - A Practical Approach to Achieving CISPR 25 Compliance through Concepts, Components, and Simulation -

Due to popular demand, we have decided to hold the event in "Nagoya"! TDK and Microwave Factory will be presenting! We will introduce EMC noise countermeasures and their effects, incorporating measurement data and application examples. Following the successful seminar held at the Yokohama venue last time, we will now hold it in Nagoya. We will explain practical content regarding the reduction of rework in EMC design and the approach to noise countermeasures during the design phase. This time, based on the results of the previous survey, we plan to revise some of the content to deliver it in a more understandable format. This seminar is ideal for those who want to streamline the flow from design to pre-testing and improve the quality and speed of automotive EMC. We sincerely look forward to your participation.
