Hydrogen-free DLC coating [Sales of film deposition equipment and contract film deposition]

Technical data provided: Achieving high hardness, high adhesion, and excellent wear resistance with room temperature film formation! DLC (TAC) coating is possible for plastics and ceramics.

Hydrogen-free DLC films (ta-C) using the filtered arc method differ from existing PVD and CVD methods by removing impurities through an electromagnetic filter, resulting in fewer particles, excellent adhesion, and high wear resistance. Additionally, since the film is formed at room temperature, it can be applied to low melting point materials such as plastics and rubber, as well as various materials like ceramics. Furthermore, it is possible to create thick films of over 10 micrometers, enhancing the quality and longevity of automotive parts, thereby increasing added value. In addition to DLC films, please also try our composite metal film "MiCC film," which excels in release properties during plastic molding. 【Features】 ■ High hardness film free of particles (droplets) ■ Applicable to various materials including low melting point materials like resins and rubber, as well as ceramics ■ Improved wear resistance for sliding components ■ Capable of creating thick films over 10 micrometers ■ High corrosion resistance against gases such as ozone and NOx *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Metal coating for plastic products, DLC (TAC) coating

DLC and metal film coatings can now be applied to plastic and ceramic materials, significantly improving wear resistance and scratch resistance!

Coating on metals and DLC (TAC), which was difficult for plastic and ceramic materials, has become possible. This also contributes to the replacement of metal materials with plastic materials! Since the coating is done at low temperatures, there is no deformation or alteration of the substrate materials. Furthermore, by coating a decorative film (metal film) on DLC (TAC), we can provide a high-hardness film that exudes luxury. Coating is possible not only on DLC (TAC) but also on metal films. 【Features】 ■ High hardness ■ Scratch resistance ■ DLC (TAC) + decorative film is possible *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

PIA-DLC Coating

PIA-DLC Coating

By exposing parts to plasma and applying a negative pulse voltage to them, carbon ions can be injected, allowing for uniform coating of high-density thick-film DLC on three-dimensional shaped parts at room temperature. The characteristics of PIA-DLC, such as wear resistance, sliding properties, release properties, corrosion resistance, and gas barrier properties, can also be imparted to non-metal materials like aluminum, rubber, and resin. PIA-DLC coating has gained attention for enabling surface modification at room temperature using quantum beam (ion, electron, light) technology, which was traditionally done at high temperatures. It is now possible to coat non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum and nickel), rubber, and resin with high-density DLC at room temperature, which was previously impossible. As an alternative technology that surpasses the performance of plating, we offer high-functionality, high-adhesion, low-cost DLC at room temperature as a foundational technology for manufacturing. The coating that forms high-hardness nano-diamond crystals (ND-DLC), which is twice as hard as conventional DLC, is also available, and it is possible to create DLC coatings with conductivity, whereas traditional DLC is an insulator.

Fluororesin thick film coating

Coating with fluororesin that has excellent chemical resistance through fluid immersion!

It demonstrates excellent chemical resistance and maximizes its capabilities in on-site processes with long life and substrate treatment processes that have not been seen before (maximum film thickness of 1 mm can be produced). In recent years, as the speed of fluororesin rolls has increased, they have been widely used in the processing stages of functional films and metal foils, such as acid and alkaline solutions in the preceding and subsequent process lines, traditionally as "guide rolls," "liquid draining rolls," and "transport rolls," including plating rolls and hard rubber rolls for various applications. However, these rolls have been manufactured to address contamination of substrates from transport rolls (especially the extraction of compounded materials from rubber rolls), insufficient liquid drainage leading to solution carryover, and improvements to prevent scratches. Additionally, we offer "conductive fluororesin rolls" that use conductive fluororesin paint for specific applications. To achieve long life as a fluororesin roll, the thickness of the fluororesin coating is set between 0.3 mm and 1 mm, and the surface roughness of the roll can be adjusted as needed in the processes used (surface roughness Ra-0.2 to 0.01). The fluororesin-coated rolls are designed to prevent scratches and reduce stress on the substrate, enabling them to accommodate the acceleration of production processes.

This is a tabletop coating device that can be used with a household 100V power supply! It allows for simple test coating for offline use! The gap between the rolls can be adjusted to approximately 1/1000!

At To Roller Industry Co., Ltd., we manufacture and sell tabletop coating devices. 【Features of the Tabletop Coating Device】 ● Simple test coating is possible for offline use. ● Compared to existing models, handling is easier for condition setting with prototype coatings. - Stable rotation is achieved by controlling the drive system with a brushless motor (adopting a direct drive method). - By adopting natural and reverse methods, the characteristics of the coating liquid can be understood (the superiority of the coating surface relative to the substrate and the characteristics of the coating liquid such as film thickness can be confirmed). - The coating roll components (1. Doctor: 2. Coating: 3. Backup/Conveyor left and right) can be individually controlled for rotation, allowing for smooth condition setting of various coating liquids. ● It can be operated with a household 100V power supply. ● Adjustments between rolls can be made with precision down to 1/1000 of a unit. * Modifications according to your requests are also possible.
