Bond Elut PBA
Bond Elut PBA is a unique packing material that binds phenylboronic acid to a silica gel surface.
Bond Elut PBA is a unique packing material that binds phenylboronic acid to a silica gel surface. The strength of the covalent bond is due to interactions that are 10 to 100 times greater than other extraction mechanisms, allowing compounds to bind more firmly to the packing material surface. As a result, it can withstand strong cleaning and can be completely cleaned up. Boron bases show high selectivity for compounds with cis-diol groups, such as catechols, nucleic acids, low molecular weight proteins, and carbohydrates. PBA has been proven to be particularly effective for the separation of catecholamines from biological fluids and for the separation of RNA from DNA. It can also be applied to cis-amino alcohols like propanol. When functional groups of compounds are present on the same surface, the retention capacity becomes strong. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
