The UKB LS consists of a customizable housing, an inverted rupture disk, and a three-section knife. When the specified burst pressure is reached, the rupture disk bursts open towards the knife. This design allows for the lowest burst pressure while also enabling high vacuum conditions. The rupture disk and housing are micro-welded, and all components are made of metal, ensuring maximum airtightness. A maximum leakage rate of 10^-10 is achievable. FDA-compliant pure graphite rupture disk
REMBE's unique graphite rupture disk is a product that boasts high performance and reliability characteristic of REMBE. It is designed to withstand highly corrosive media, low pressure, and high temperatures. All rupture disks manufactured by REMBE, including the graphite rupture disk, are made in Germany. The maximum operating pressure of the graphite rupture disk is 80% of the minimum burst pressure*. REMBE's graphite rupture disks are suitable for high temperatures due to a unique chemical vapor deposition method called "PyC coating (pyrolytic carbon)." They can operate under oxidizing and reducing atmospheres from -180 °C to +500 °C, and under inert conditions, they can withstand temperatures up to +1,500 °C.
