Gelatin is classified as "substitutes for specific ingredients" in food allergen labeling. However, due to its high processing level and the difficulty of DNA detection, a testing method for food allergens had not been established. Therefore, our company focused on pigs, which are representative animals from which gelatin is derived, and developed a technology to specifically detect collagen/gelatin derived from pigs, initiating contract testing for food allergens targeting gelatin (derived from pigs). 【Features of the Test】 ◆ Achieves practical detection sensitivity for food allergen testing! For water (such as wash water or wiping solution), a detection limit of 10 ppm* has been achieved.
