To fill 50 bags per hour, it was necessary to weigh 1000 kg in about 35 seconds, which required the combination of a cut gate and a screw feeder. This is equipment for dissolving pulp blocks in water and feeding them into a mixer. It was necessary to feed three blocks of pulp every ten minutes into the pulper, which meant that the operator was tied up with that task. After the installation, by stocking 12 blocks, the operator was able to perform other tasks for about 40 minutes. We have handled the mechanical design, electrical design, installation work, and piping work for the conical dryer and its ancillary equipment. In the case of a standard conical dryer, we could not meet the height constraints of the installation location. However, due to the small angle of repose of the raw materials, we designed a special shape with an elongated cylindrical section to secure the capacity. We changed the installation method of the vibration to a system where the vibration is directly transmitted to the coal. Due to the low boiling point of the recovered solvent, it was considered that the condensed solvent could re-evaporate in the secondary side of the recovery tank, leading to a decrease in recovery rate. We utilized some existing lines that could be repurposed and successfully established the new equipment. Typically, placing the weighing instruments on the upper floor of the mixer makes it challenging to secure installation space for the weighing instruments when dealing with a variety of raw materials. However, by installing the weighing instruments under each silo, we created more space on the upper floor of the mixer.
