Mounting on the hopper of the powder roll feeder.

The results are good! There is no longer any occurrence of bridging even with very fine A powder.

This is a case study of measures taken to prevent bridging in a mixture of powder A and powder B. Powder A has an average particle diameter of about 3 μm, while powder B is coarse. There are several mixing ratios, but in many cases, bridging does not occur with the installation of partition plates in the hopper. However, when the proportion of powder A exceeds a certain level, bridging could not be resolved with partition plates or vibrators. We reviewed the powder samples and hopper diagrams, and based on our past experience, we suggested arrangements. We lent out samples, and the customer made the decision to implement them. The results were favorable, and bridging no longer occurred even with very fine powder A alone. [Case Overview] ■ Hopper Size: 800 (inclined surface) × 500 (vertical surface) ■ Arrangement: 2 breeding disks installed per inclined surface, totaling 4 disks ■ Control: 4 breeding disks controlled by controller C-SV1 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Elimination of residual resin powder and resin chips in the suction transport hopper.

Introducing a case study on the installation of a hopper for the suction transport of resin chips and resin powder!

We would like to introduce a case where the residual resin powder and resin chips in the suction hopper were eliminated. The customer was discharging and transporting materials by suctioning horizontally from the bottom of the hopper, but there was a problem where materials remained on the opposite side and sides of the suction inlet, rendering the level switch ineffective due to this residue. We installed one blow disk of type BD-15 on each of the three sides, excluding the side with the suction inlet. Using a controller C-SV1 with one built-in solenoid valve, we simultaneously aerated all three disks. The air ON and OFF times were determined based on the observed effects on-site. 【Process Leading to Implementation】 1. Consultation from the customer (disclosure of hopper drawings and contents) 2. Guidance on recommended models and layout from our company 3. Free loan of blow disks 4. Customer installs the blow disks and manually turns air ON and OFF to confirm effectiveness 5. Positive results lead to the introduction of blow disks and controller *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

0712 Elimination of bridge and rat holes in talc + additives.

Introducing a solution for rat holes occurring at the bridge of the Φ800 hopper and its lower reducer!

We would like to introduce a case where the issues of bridging and rat holes with talc and additives were resolved. Four blow discs (BD-15 type) were installed slightly above the discharge section of the Φ800 hopper. Two blow disc minis (BD-08 type) were installed in the reducer. With these countermeasures, the user's challenges were cleared in one go. How can we easily and cost-effectively eliminate bridging, rat holes, powder blockages, and obstructions? We believe we have the answer. While we cannot guarantee 100%, we are confident that there is a significant possibility of solving customer issues easily and at low cost. 【Countermeasures】 <Equipment Installation> ■ Four blow discs (BD-15 type) installed slightly above the discharge section of the Φ800 hopper ■ Two blow disc minis (BD-08 type) installed in the reducer <Control> ■ Using the C-SV4 controller with four built-in solenoid valves, sequential air aeration is applied to the above blow discs and blow disc minis in four locations. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We received an inquiry from a customer in the electronic components industry stating, "We are unable to effectively resolve the clogging of powder materials (bridging phenomenon). Hitting it with a resin hammer has no effect, and using a vibrator only compresses the powder further. How can we prevent the bridging of the powder?" The results of the implementation have been favorable. Since it is a measure using air aeration, the powder does not become overly compacted, and there is no damage to the hopper. [Container Details] ■ Eccentric Hopper ■ Diameter: Φ350 ■ Outlet Diameter: Φ50 ■ Inclination Angle (gentle slope side): 60° ■ Inclination Angle (steep slope side): vertical *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Elimination of remaining carbon black emissions.

There are many varieties of materials, and we received high praise from the customer for solving everything!

We would like to introduce a case where the issue of residual discharge occurring in the weighing hopper was resolved using a "Blow Disk." A customer consulted us, stating that there was a significant amount of residue adhering in the carbon black weighing hopper, and although they attempted to address it with a knocker and a vibrator, it was unsuccessful. They inquired whether the Blow Disk could help. We lent our product to the customer, who installed it in a dummy hopper and confirmed the air injection and vibration. After reviewing the hopper design, we provided recommendations for the appropriate model and configuration. As a result of the implementation, the residual amount was reduced to about 500g. The customer praised us highly, noting that there are many types of materials, and we were able to resolve the issue for all of them. 0694 Prevention of rat holes in talc (tire-related)

The troubles of bridge, rat hole, and powder clogging were resolved more easily than the customer's expectations!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Brodisk" at a tire-related business. The company's challenge was to eliminate and prevent talc rat holes. While blockages at the discharge point were resolved by tapping, rat holes remained, and the powder remaining on the hopper wall was quite compacted. In our company, we installed one Brodisk (Type 15) near the discharge area on each of the four sides of a square hopper, and one more above that, offset from the center left and right, resulting in two Brodisks per side, for a total of eight Brodisks. Using a controller C-SV4 equipped with four solenoid valves, we aerated the eight Brodisks two at a time, and the customer's problem was resolved in one go. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■ Hopper Conditions - Size: 800×800 - Discharge Area: 150×150 - Discharge Device: RV *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

The background is that the customer stated, "We are using a vibration discharge device and metal mesh aeration for bridge prevention in an existing silo, but the aeration is not effective," and they decided to replace it with our equipment. As a result, the customer requested that our device be positioned where the previous aeration was located. After confirming the details and determining that there were no issues, they proceeded with the installation. The equipment has been operating without any problems since then. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Wood-based powdered activated carbon (Density: approx. 0.4) ■ Configuration: A total of 6 units installed at 60° intervals on the upper hopper of the vibration discharge device, all on the same circumference. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
