Free membership registrationAs a measure to address the powder residue on the gentle slope side of the off-center hopper, it has been adopted by a chemical company. We received a call from a customer who said, "It's not working well," and when we inquired about the operating conditions, they mentioned that the air pressure was 0.1 MPa and the air ON time was about 0.5 seconds. We then advised them to first try increasing the air pressure to above 0.3 MPa and extending the air ON time to about 5 seconds. With these conditions, the problem was resolved immediately. If they need to reduce the air consumption, they will need to decrease the air pressure and ON time from these conditions. 【Product Specifications】 ■ Blowing Disk: BD-15S-W, 3 units ■ Controller: C-SV1, 1 unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to a case where a problem was resolved by the urgent installation of a Brodisk due to the formation of a bridge during trial operation of newly introduced equipment. As a result of consultations during the inquiry, the customer requested the urgent installation of four Brodisk (standard type: BD-15S-W), and we promptly sent them. The results of their use were excellent, leading to immediate adoption. Additionally, due to the user's circumstances, they are considering further installation of Brodisk in the future for this hopper. Currently, they are using the C-SV4 controller (which has four built-in solenoid valves) for control, and the same controller can be used if additional Brodisk are installed in the future. Free membership registrationWe have adopted our BroaDisk for the renovation work of the incineration equipment. This involves the introduction of two types of silos: "Alkali Chemical Silo" and "Activated Carbon Silo." Including our products, the replacement of air rotors can only be done when the silos are empty. Therefore, since replacements cannot be done frequently, the durability of the elastic disks is extremely important. The elastic disks of this equipment (special silicone) are manufactured with a thorough focus on materials and processes to enhance durability. In this case, we provided samples of the elastic disks to the customer during the initial inquiry, which led to their adoption later. We believe that the durability of the BroaDisk has been well evaluated by the customer. Additionally, we conduct thorough evaluation tests at external organizations during the development phase. 【Introduction to Two Types of Silos】 - Alkali Chemical Silo: φ2000 (Discharge part 300A) - Activated Carbon Silo: φ1800 (Discharge part 300A) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe received a new inquiry from a rubber product manufacturer who adopted our equipment a long time ago. In the previous project, they used the Brodie Disk Mini to prevent fine powder bridging, and it was well received. Although quite some time has passed since then, it seems they have been using the elastic disks (silicone disks) stably without any degradation or damage. This time, they consulted us because the material tends to stick to the inner surface of the hopper, and they wanted to find a solution. The effectiveness of our equipment depends on the degree of sticking (adhesion), so we first installed one Brodie Disk (standard type) on just one surface, which yielded very good results. Based on the test results, it was decided to install them on each surface. 【Overview】 ■ Material: Urethane pellets ■ Hopper dimensions: 450×450 ■ Discharge section dimensions: 100×100 ■ Transport: Blower ■ Control: To prevent adhesion, it is effective to inject air at high pressure, so the operating air pressure is set higher, and four Brodie Disks are activated one by one with a time delay. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe have delivered to the manufacturer of quasi-drugs. This user has already been using the Brodisk (standard specification) and has received positive feedback. This time, they consulted us about adopting the Brodisk for another manufacturing device (quasi-drug production), and we provided them with a special specification product that has a proven track record with pharmaceutical manufacturers. For a φ500 hopper, it is possible to consider installing two Brodisk units instead of the Brodisk Mini, but the user expressed a desire to minimize the amount of air used as much as possible, so we decided to install four Brodisk Mini units. The Brodisk Mini uses about 1/5 the amount of air compared to the Brodisk, meeting the conditions, and the results were satisfactory. [Overview of the hopper for installation] ■ Diameter: φ500 ■ Discharge section: φ150 ■ Discharge device: Special choke valve *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe have been adopted for a project aimed at wastewater treatment plants by a customer related to plants. The subject matter is sludge incineration ash, and the issue was that "when the remaining amount of silo contents decreased, discharge failures occurred, making it impossible to load onto trucks (troubles occurred when the remaining amount was below 20-30 tons)." Previously, a mesh-type air rater was used, and although the air pressure was increased, it did not lead to improvements, resulting in mesh damage and air leaks from the surroundings (other aeration methods were also used in conjunction). Therefore, although it is a large silo, the trouble only occurs when the powder level decreases. We positioned the equipment in three tiers near the discharge area (only the three tiers below the silo, without the fourth and fifth tiers). There are a total of 20 standard type blow discs: 4 in the bottom tier, 8 in the second tier, and 8 in the third tier. Control is managed by a controller with 10 solenoid valves built-in. The operating air pressure is set higher, and we addressed the issue by turning on the air in small increments (2 units at a time). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis is an example of how our equipment resolved issues that could not be solved by the installation of knockers and aeration (socket welding) on the bridge. The installation of the blow disk involves making holes in the hopper wall for attachment. In this case, the customer expressed, "We have tried various methods, so we absolutely do not want to fail this time." Therefore, it was decided to first test with a φ500 hopper that the customer could prepare (with holes drilled, and it was acceptable if it did not work). As a result, the discharge issues were resolved, but after discussions between the customer and our company, we concluded that it would be better to install a total of 8 blow disks of this type in 2 tiers using a φ800 hopper. The customer proceeded with this installation. The control system uses a controller (C-SV4) with 4 built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for the 8 blow disks in pairs at 4 locations with a time delay. [Conditions] ■ Hopper diameter: φ800 ■ Discharge diameter: 150A ■ Knockers: 2 electromagnetic (before the introduction of this equipment) ■ Sockets: 4 locations (before the introduction of this equipment) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe user reported, "The fluidity is terrible, so we adopted a feeder with a mixer for the quantitative feeder part, but we are having trouble with rat holes occurring in the large hopper connected above it." The target material is a very poorly flowing fine powder, and while the substance name is undisclosed, upon reviewing the sample, it seemed to have properties similar to titanium dioxide. After reviewing the hopper diagram, the sample of the target material, and photos of the rat hole situation, we provided guidance on the arrangement and control of the blow disk, and it was adopted. I heard that the rat holes were resolved immediately after the installation of the equipment. [Overview of the hopper where the blow disk was installed this time] ■ Diameter: φ1000 ■ Bottom dimensions: approximately 500×500 ■ Height: approximately 700 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis is an example used by a precision parts manufacturer, where Sic powder bridges at the bottom of the hopper, prompting your inquiry. In the case of a φ600 hopper, it is common to adopt the Brodie Disk instead of the smaller Brodie Disk Mini. However, the air volume for the Brodie Disk is significantly higher compared to the Mini. Since there was a request to minimize the air volume as much as possible, we had the customer check both the Brodie Disk Mini and the Brodie Disk in person, and decided to implement the Brodie Disk Mini, which has a lower air volume. This installation consists of 8 Brodie Disk Minis, and in this case, the air volume is less than that of 2-3 Brodie Disks. 【Usage Conditions Overview】 ■ Hopper Diameter: Approximately φ600 ■ Material: Sic powder (average particle size = several micrometers) ■ Request: To use as little air as possible *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe received an inquiry regarding a φ1500 resin chip tank, where fine powder adheres to the cylindrical part above the material input level and the upper lid. When this powder grows and suddenly falls, it causes issues in subsequent processes, so they would like to try a blow disk. The user's request was to 'install a few as a test on a part of the upper lid,' but since the conditions are worse in the cylindrical part, we recommended installing a few there for testing. As a result, it was determined that there was no longer any growth of adhesion at the installation site, which was deemed satisfactory. The range will remain confidential as it pertains to the user's know-how. Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where a user experiencing significant issues with the discharge of titanium oxide reached out to us. The size of the hopper in question is 500×500, and if the flowability of the powder is quite poor, it is generally recommended to use at least four blow discs (standard type: BD-15). Initially, four BD-20 type blow discs were adopted, and aeration was performed manually under various conditions. As a result, it was determined that it is preferable to sequentially turn on the air for each of the four blow discs with a time delay, and a controller (with four built-in solenoid valves) was adopted for this purpose. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disc (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. Free membership registrationHere is a case study of our adoption by a chemical manufacturer. "We experienced significant adhesion of flake-like material on the interior surface of the hopper, and despite installing numerous buff finishes and knockers, it was unsuccessful," they contacted us. The customer's requests were twofold: to borrow the equipment for effectiveness verification and to provide sample pieces for evaluating the resistance of the equipment's elastic disk (silicone disk). We responded promptly to the above requests, and after the customer conducted confirmation tests, they determined it to be effective and adopted our solution. [Case Overview] - Hopper Diameter: φ800 - Discharge Diameter: φ300 - Target Material: Chemical products, flake ground products, approximately 50-200μm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where the issue of maintaining quantitative supply was resolved by installing this equipment due to the bridging occurring in the hopper of the quantitative feeder (screw feeder). Five BroaDisk "BD-15S-B" units and one controller "C-SV4" were installed. Although the fourth solenoid valve was not used this time, it can be utilized in the future if additional BroaDisks are installed. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper: 1200×1500, 3 inclined surfaces (1 vertical) ■ Arrangement - 2 units on each of the 2 surfaces along the screw - 1 unit on the remaining inclined surface - A total of 5 units installed ■ Target materials: Lime powder, cement, etc. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our bridge breaker "Brodisk" was utilized in the development department of a chemical manufacturer. There were many types of powders used, and about half of them experienced flow issues from the hopper, leading to problems such as rat-hole formation even after stirring with a rod. Additionally, the hopper was deformed due to hammering, and our device was adopted in line with the hopper's refurbishment. Although it is used manually (with manual air ON/OFF), we have received high praise for the significant improvement compared to before. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper dimensions: 600×600 ■ Discharge dimensions: 100A ■ Powder particle size: approximately 10 to 100 microns ■ Powder bulk density: 0.2 to 0.6 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationDue to the contents getting stuck in the reducer at the bottom of the grinding product tank of the grain grinding device, we would like to introduce a case that was adopted. After an inquiry from the customer, there was a request to see the actual product, so we installed the standard Broady Disk model "BD-15" on a resin plate that simulated the hopper wall and lent it out. The client connected air to it, and although it was just the Broady Disk alone, they confirmed the air injection and the vibration of the elastic disk. They commented, especially regarding the vibration, "It's beyond our expectations! It seems we can achieve sufficient effect!" After that, discussions were held regarding the arrangement and control of the Broady Disk, leading to its adoption. [Case Overview] ■ Material: Soybean grinding product ■ Installed reducer dimensions: Approximately φ600 → φ150 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAs a countermeasure for bridging in a small hopper, we received a request from the customer to borrow equipment for testing. Upon reviewing the hopper diagram, we determined that four Brody Disk Minis would be appropriate. However, when the Brody Disk Minis are installed on a flat surface (in this case, it is a corner hopper and installed flat), a high-pitched sound occurs. We informed them that if the air ON time is short, it would not be too bothersome, and proceeded with the test. The results were favorable, and they decided to introduce the Brody Disk Minis along with the controller. [Case Overview] ■ Subject: Heavy calcium carbonate (Product name: Micron Cal) ■ Hopper: 300×300 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce an inquiry we received from a customer stating, "We would like to install a blow disk in conjunction with the modification of the discharge section of the existing silo." The silo has a diameter of φ2000, and a vibro activator was used for discharge. However, due to certain circumstances, the customer requested to remove this discharge device and place our blow disk above it. Since the discharge diameter is φ1000 and the circumference is large, it was decided to install 8 blow disks (in practice, 4 disks will be placed in two tiers with slightly different heights). 【Case Overview】 ■ Name: Iron Oxide ■ Bulk Density: 1.2 ■ Angle of Repose: 50° ■ Adhesiveness: Yes 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. Our silicone disks are exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use them, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller ready. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe customer contacted us requesting to borrow a "Broady Disk Mini" because the crushed material was getting stuck in the hopper. Since the hopper in question was a small rectangular hopper, we prepared and sent four units of the Broady Disk Mini "BD-08S type" for the customer to try out. There was a viewing window on one side of the hopper, so after installing one Broady Disk Mini on each of the two opposing sides of the remaining three sides and testing it, it was concluded that while there was an effect, it would be even better to install one on the last side as well. As a result, a total of three units were adopted, and the outcome was very favorable. 【Case Summary】 ■ Subject: Olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer crushed material (2mm to powder) ■ Hopper: Approximately 200×300 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIn this case, the hopper temporarily reaches high temperatures, so the customer originally used an air knocker. However, due to certain conditions, rat holes began to occur, leading to the adoption of our blow disk, which has a silicone air discharge section that can withstand high temperatures. The rat holes were immediately resolved, and although a certain period has passed since the start of use, there has not been any significant deterioration of the rubber due to high temperatures. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper Diameter: φ400 ■ Discharge Diameter: φ80 ■ Material: Wood powder (moisture content 15-20%) ■ Temperature: 180℃ ■ Model/Configuration: Two blow disk minis arranged in two tiers (the upper and lower tiers are positioned 90° apart) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where we received inquiries about discharge troubles with a square hopper for crushed material. We confirmed the sample of the target material that you sent in small quantities. Based on our experience, we communicated that there were no significant concerns, and since it was a square hopper, we suggested installing one on each side, after which it was implemented. The troubles were resolved immediately. Thank you for your adoption. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Crushed material of 50μm film (approximately 3-5mm) ■ Situation (1) Crushed material was compressed and bridged (2) Material only fell directly downward from the discharge area, forming a rat hole ■ Hopper: 500×500 (manufactured by MATSUI, TA95) 【Key Points of Our Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of the risk of foreign material contamination, as well as strength and durability. The silicone disk of our equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller prepared. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our equipment was adopted in a factory that fills powdered food products. It seems that there are many types of powders, but we received inquiries regarding particularly poor flowability of powdered tea, which leads to troubles. While the main body of the auger filling machine does not create bridges due to the stirring blades, it appears that blockages frequently occur in the chute section between the expanded hopper at the top and the filling machine. After reviewing the drawings and discussing the situation, we thought that installing one Brody Disk Mini could resolve the issue, so we lent it to the customer for testing. [Case Overview] ■ Target materials: Matcha, and others (particle size: 100μm to several μm) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where a bridge occurs in the dust collector hopper, which led to your adoption of our solution. The system continuously discharges, and the basic setup involves installing a total of four units, one on each side just above the discharge area. However, in this case, we have observed that "there is always a significant amount of residual material in the four corners, which can suddenly drop and increase the risk of bridging." Therefore, we have prioritized the arrangement to address this issue. Our company provides assistance with specific layout planning. Although it involves air injection, the installation location is crucial. Please feel free to contact us. [Overview] ■ Hopper dimensions: Approximately 2000×2400 ■ Discharge area dimensions: 200×200 ■ Material: Gypsum dust ■ Brodie disk arrangement - One unit on each side just above the discharge area - Additionally, one unit on each side, positioned towards the corners above, for a total of 8 units installed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
