Kurashiki Bowling Machinery will change its non-stick coating!!
In recent years, society has been actively moving towards the reuse of various materials for the sake of environmental protection. In the paper industry, there has been a vigorous movement to increase the ratio of recycled paper in terms of raw material reuse. However, the reality is that the recycled paper actually used often comes from overseas or has been reused multiple times, leading to a decline in the quality of recycled paper. Consequently, a significant amount of pitch is generated during the paper-making process due to the mixing of this recycled paper into the raw materials.
As a result, non-stick properties on the surface of each roll are required, and currently, a method of firing fluororesin on the surface after thermal spraying using a firing furnace is being employed as a countermeasure. However, this method poses issues such as high temperatures that can cause distortion or shaft displacement in the rolls, as well as the problem that on-site construction is impossible due to the use of a firing furnace.
To address these issues, KBK has developed K-Stef® to solve these problems!
