When comparing the filtration area of this cylindrical type with that of Soytex, it turns out that Soytex has about 1.5 times the filtration area. By increasing the filtration area, it is possible to reduce the filtration speed, which leads to prevention of blow-through and extended lifespan. Additionally, since the material is industrial felt, it has good dust release properties. It can also be installed on various types of dust collectors without the need for modifications to the main unit. If you want to increase the filtration area of an existing dust collector, there is no need to enlarge the canister; simply using Soytex will suffice.

At Tokin, we have released the SC-XV coil, which complies with the automotive standard AEC-Q200 for EMC countermeasures in automotive applications, ahead of the industry, with a rated voltage of 1000VAC/DC and a total of 331 specifications. Additionally, we have launched the "SC-XV Series Filter Circuit Attenuation Characteristics Simulation" on our website to assist our customers' designs. In our webinar scheduled for February 22, 2024, we will introduce a simulation method that can calculate the maximum 6th-order filter attenuation. The SCF/SCR/SCT-XV series offers 321 items consisting of four core sizes with outer diameters of 19/25/29/39mm, in two shapes: vertical and horizontal, and combinations of single-phase and three-phase types. The dual-mode coil SCN-XV series includes 10 items in two single-phase types with a core size outer diameter of 35mm and different heights. From this extensive lineup, it is possible to select suitable specifications according to the noise frequencies that need to be suppressed in various applications.

Our company manufactures and sells "Absolute Dimension Filters®" that control fine particles ranging from 1 to 20 μm. In the attached materials, we introduce two examples: one demonstrating the precise separation of foreign substances in the micrometer size range, and another showing the precise size classification of particles in the micrometer size range. To highlight some examples: There are cases where unwanted foreign substances are mixed in slurries containing nanoparticles and powders of several microns, and these filters are used to efficiently remove and separate the unwanted foreign substances.
