Earthwatch Japan Domestic Projects

This is a volunteer experience in an extraordinary environment, such as taking data on coastal reefs while wearing a wetsuit or tracking wildlife in remote forests.

In various fields across the country, we conduct ecological surveys of small animals and insects that are endangered, and engage in basic research aimed at promoting coexistence between forest animals and humans. We stay at university training facilities or guesthouses, with the duration of our stay on-site ranging from a day trip to about two nights and three days.

Composting project on-site [Available for inspection! For government officials and food processing factory representatives]

Composting of green waste and reduction of administrative costs! It can be implemented in simple buildings with roofs and walls.

We would like to introduce the "BES System" for composting green waste using bio-organisms to everyone in the Environmental Division of the administration and to those in food processing factories such as bean sprouts and mushrooms. The processing of green waste faces two issues: incineration costs and carbon dioxide emissions. Our system can remarkably solve these problems associated with green waste. With the biodegradation by bio-organisms, the use of heavy oil for incineration is reduced to zero, and green waste becomes an excellent bio-fertilizer. Furthermore, the completed bio-fertilizer can be returned to the citizens, supporting clean agriculture in the community. 【Features】 - No need for a large plant; it can be implemented in a simple building with a roof and walls. - Treatment through biodegradation using useful microorganisms, including bio-organisms. - Zero heavy oil usage, leading to significant cost reduction. - Biodegraded green waste becomes an excellent bio-fertilizer. - CO2 reduction effect. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
