When using a solvent-based adhesive material with a high molecular weight at a high concentration, the coating liquid that comes out of the nozzle at the tip of the spray gun does not become mist-like but instead takes on a thread-like appearance (stringiness). The causes include insufficient dissolving power of the diluent thinner in the coating liquid and a rapid evaporation rate of the solvent after spraying. This phenomenon is particularly likely to occur when the nozzle diameter of the spray gun is small.
