Anti-reflective film is a type of film designed to suppress the reflection of external light on the surface of optical devices such as displays, aiming to prevent a decrease in visibility. Generally, it has a structure where a thin, transparent film with anti-reflective optical properties is layered on the surface of a base film. For example, the sparkling appearance of a water surface is due to the difference in refractive indices between air and water, which causes some light to be reflected at the boundary. Since the surface of a display also has an interface with air, light reflection will inevitably occur even if the display is covered with a transparent glass cover. Anti-reflective film is designed to minimize this reflection as much as possible. Our anti-reflective film consists of an adhesive layer, a base film, a hard coat layer, and an anti-reflective layer, with an anti-fouling treatment applied to the outermost surface. By controlling the refractive indices and thicknesses of the materials that make up the layers so that the phase of the interface reflection light reflected at each membrane interface cancels out the phase of the surface reflection light reflected at the surface, it is possible to reduce the reflected light. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links.
