TAKAMATSU PLATING MEXICANA Company Profile

The technology of brilliance, now at the cutting edge.

Takamatsu Plating has established a subsidiary, "TAKAMATSU PLATING MEXICANA," in Mexico as part of its further business expansion, building on the experience and knowledge accumulated through its plating operations at its headquarters. In Mexico, we aim to deliver our technology not to consumer products such as mobile phones, which have been our mainstay, but to the automotive industry. Currently, automobile manufacturers from around the world are entering Mexico and are working on establishing systems to produce vehicles locally. These vehicles require plated parts, and there are not many companies capable of providing high-quality plating processing locally. To meet the demand for plating from these local companies, we have evolved. We have introduced plating methods and types that we have not previously engaged in and have established a system to provide the plating required locally. In Mexico as well, we will respond to customer needs with the spirit of our corporate motto, "Creativity and Innovation." 【Business Activities】 ■ Surface treatment of automotive parts and related components (zinc, nickel) All other operations related to the above *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"Au Spot Plating" *Materials Provided*

Significant reduction in Au usage is possible. Plating is acceptable in a minimum diameter of 0.5mm and in small areas. Contributes to cost reduction.

Our company specializes in "Au spot plating," which allows us to apply gold plating only to the necessary areas. We can create a "four-sided (front, back, and cross-section) Ni barrier" at the same height as the Au plating area to prevent solder wicking into the conductive parts during soldering. This helps eliminate unnecessary Au plating and significantly reduces the amount of gold used. 【Features】 ■ Capable of accommodating three-dimensional shapes and protrusions, such as tapered shapes ■ Examples of approximately 50% reduction in Au usage ■ Plating possible in very small areas with a minimum diameter of 0.5mm ★ We are currently offering materials that clearly introduce this technology using images! For more details, please check "PDF Download."

Non-cyanide AgSb plating "Dine Silver HDX"

New lineup of non-cyan silver plating.

This product is a completely cyan-free type of silver alloy plating that is environmentally friendly and safe for humans. For electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors, it is necessary to carry a large current to shorten charging time, which requires a metal plating coating with excellent wear resistance. This product has a contact electrical resistance comparable to that of pure silver plating and provides a silver-antimony alloy plating coating (Sb = 1-2%) with excellent wear resistance and a hardness of over 150 Hv (measured value around 180 Hv). Therefore, it can be applied to various contacts and switch components, including EV charging connectors.
