The Thermo Scientific NanoDrop Ultra micro-volume spectrophotometer can quantify the concentration of DNA, RNA, and proteins in samples as small as 1 μL. Furthermore, it can detect not only proteins, phenols, and guanidine hydrochloride in DNA and RNA but also contamination of ssRNA in dsDNA and dsDNA in ssRNA. Measurements can be performed using the device alone or controlled from a PC.
