After 11 years since the release of the ultrasonic servo welding machine in 2010, Duquesne's ultrasonic servo welding machine has been reborn! The servo motor has been upgraded, maintaining the maximum load while increasing the speed of the up-and-down stroke, thereby shortening the cycle time. In addition to the patented melt detection function, speed profile function, and double hold control function that can also be used with previous models, it is equipped with more advanced welding control features such as load detection control and load increase rate control. The front of the press unit features a status screen that displays the condition of the device, allowing operators to grasp the current situation at a glance by showing various information. The smart stack quick change system enables tool-free stack replacement, achieving significant time savings during changeovers.

The new basic model series P220/P215 from Duquesne offers options equipped with features such as time control, energy control, peak power control, as well as distance control functions for welding distance and welding end position control. The load trigger mechanism has also been upgraded to a specification that detects actual load using high-end load cells, and even the standard model has transitioned from the traditional analog volume adjustment to a digital method using numerical input from the oscillator, improving reproducibility during step changes. The data output function, which was not supported in the previous i220 series, is now available through the use of the iQ-Explorer3 software. Additionally, when used in automatic machines, there is an iQLinQ communication function option that allows for complete control and monitoring from the device's PLC. Previously, external PLCs could only switch the welding conditions saved in the oscillator, but with iQLinQ, it is now possible to rewrite each parameter, significantly enhancing the compatibility between automatic machines and ultrasonic welding machines. Models are available for all frequencies of 15/20/30/35/40 kHz, allowing customers to choose the specifications that best suit their products.

The iQ-AiM series ultrasonic oscillator, specially designed for integration into automatic devices, can be connected to the device's PLC using communication modules such as CC-Link, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus, allowing all control and monitoring to be conducted from the device's PLC. The cumbersome connection of I/O wires is resolved with just one cable, eliminating the need for external amplitude control and output monitoring analog units. Ultrasonic control is possible not only through ON/OFF external signals but also through time control and energy control. Furthermore, by using an external encoder, it supports distance control, a first for probe-type oscillators. It also features Duquesne's patented output trigger function, enabling stable oscillation start and further enhancing ultrasonic welding in automatic devices.

The iQ Auto Plus ultrasonic oscillator is designed for use in automotive parts, packaging, and other automated manufacturing lines. It simplifies the previously cumbersome wiring process during installation by using a single cable, allowing for complete control and monitoring from an external PLC. Additionally, by combining it with the patented MPC unit, it is possible to switch multiple probes (transducers) to oscillate with a single oscillator.

The handheld ultrasonic welder "iQ HP-E" series improves the variability of welding conditions caused by differences among operators through patented technology for output triggering and oscillation energy control, enabling stable spot welding and riveting. The color LCD screen now supports Japanese display, making it even easier to use.

The communication module "iQLinQ," developed for the Duquesne iQ series probe oscillator, allows for direct control and monitoring of the ultrasonic oscillator from a PLC when used in combination with an automatic machine. The cumbersome wiring task of connecting each conventional I/O signal to terminals is completed simply by connecting one cable to a connector. This eliminates the hassle of wiring work and wiring errors, significantly reducing the engineering costs involved. Additionally, all welding control settings, data monitoring, limit settings, and confirmation of judgment results can be performed from the PLC, allowing the ultrasonic oscillator to be fully integrated and used as part of the automatic machine. In traditional methods, an analog unit was required for amplitude control and oscillation output signals, but using "iQLinQ" eliminates the need for these analog units. This new era communication unit completely disrupts the conventional control methods for ultrasonic oscillators in automatic machines, further enhancing the combination of the automatic machine and ultrasonic oscillator, and greatly contributing to the overall functionality of the equipment.

Soniseal WD can seal at a feed speed of up to 150m/min while maintaining high stability of the sealing condition. When performing multi-point spot welding or multi-point riveting on large components in multiple stages, it can switch and control up to 8 transducers with a single oscillator, thereby reducing the manufacturing costs of assembly equipment. The functions of the iQ Auto-Plus remain unchanged, and it also supports patented output trigger functions, energy control, and distance control (requires an external encoder). Its compact body can be integrated into control panels, and it has a maximum output of 600W (with 1200W models available for 30kHz and 35kHz), providing sufficient capacity for spot welding and riveting.
