**Characteristics of Supercritical Inactive Gas RIM Foaming Molding** - Bubbles are fine (a few micrometers) - High bubble density (over 10^9) - Weight reduction can be achieved with similar physical strength - Possesses high thermal insulation properties (low thermal conductivity) - Good high-frequency characteristics (low dielectric constant) - Fine-grained elastomer foaming - Good surface properties (control of skin layer is possible) - Control of independent and continuous bubbles is possible - Difficult to generate defects like shrinkage, allowing for flexible structural design of molded products such as ribs - Can shorten molding cycles - Does not use environmentally harmful foaming agents - No risks associated with explosive atmospheres - The cost of foaming agents is low
