We would like to introduce a case where we performed cleaning of the internal circuits of a cooling unit at the request of an automotive parts manufacturer. Rust and dirt inside the circuits were obstructing the flow. While the amount of dirt was not excessive, some clumps of rust were observed. It can be inferred that there may have been accumulated dirt in certain areas of the circuit. We dispatched our workers to the site and successfully removed the contaminants through 24 hours of work. The "TE42" is an analysis chart manufactured by ImageEngineering, which we handle. It is a multipurpose test chart that can be used with cameras ranging from 2 to 170 megapixels. By capturing just one image under consistent lighting conditions, you can obtain an overview of the camera's image quality performance. Additionally, it consists of patterns for analyzing resolution, texture reproduction, sharpness, dynamic range, noise, color reproduction, distortion, chromatic aberration, and visual aspects. OECF test chart

Measuring the camera's characteristic curve is one of the important tests. The function obtained as a result is called the Optical-Electrical Conversion Function (OECF). OECF measurements can be conducted based on ISO standards 14524 and 15739, using one of the well-known charts: "TE264," "TE269," or "TE270." These standard charts use a halftone process to create gray levels on lithographic film. For waveform monitors, "TE223" with a horizontal grayscale is recommended. Test chart for flare measurement compliant with ISO18844! Introducing the selected test chart from ImageEngineering!

Flare is unwanted light in an image caused by light reflecting off various surfaces within the lens and camera. Flare generates a diffuse veil over the image field, significantly degrading image quality and leading to a decrease in contrast. The TE281 is a flare measurement chart designed in accordance with the ISO 18844 standard for measuring flare (Image Flare) in digital cameras. The TE281 features a total of 17 holes arranged diagonally across the chart, and light traps (super black holes) are attached to each hole from the back of the chart for use. The super black hole acts like a blackout curtain to emphasize black, absorbing a high percentage of light to produce the lowest possible black level. The ideal light source for the TE281 is a standard lighting system for reflective charts, such as Studio Lights. *Flare measurement with the TE281 only targets flare caused by light within the field of view of the test camera module. **The TE281 standard is a reflective chart of size A1066, but custom charts in a transmissive version can also be provided upon request.

At Sakamoto Design Technology Development Institute, we design press molds for various products, including those for automobiles. The term "press" in press molds refers to the process of shaping a thin sheet of metal into the desired form by applying several processing steps such as "drawing, cutting, and bending." Most of the metal parts of a car body are made using press molds. To create the necessary sheet metal shapes, we design mold drawings by considering factors such as "what processing steps and mold structures to use, production conditions, and mold manufacturing and maintenance conditions." The molds are then created based on these drawings. Our company utilizes 2D and 3D CAD for press mold design, modeling, and the creation of NC data.
