Styrene-free polyester resin "Aqua"

[Free Sample Distribution] Polyester resin containing no special management substances such as styrene.

This is a polyester resin for embedding samples. It is a two-component, room-temperature curing resin. The embedding resin is suitable for embedding samples that are prone to deformation due to heat or pressure. Additionally, while polyester resin has lower hardness compared to epoxy resin, it has a faster curing time, making it recommended for those who want to polish samples immediately. Aqua does not contain styrene, which is typically found in polyester, so it is not classified as a "special management substance" under the organic solvent method. We are distributing free samples, so please feel free to contact us if you are interested. 【Features】 - Does not contain styrene - Users are not required to undergo "specific chemical substance health examinations" - Can be stored normally, eliminating the need for management tasks - Suitable for large-scale sample testing - Fast curing time, making it suitable for urgent testing - Inexpensive ★ It is now also available for purchase on Amazon. Composite resin with a high loading of cellulose fibers "GREEN CHIP CMF"

"The convenience of plastic and the eco-friendliness of biomass" - Bio-based composite resin blended with wood-derived cellulose that contributes to sustainability

*During the process from resin manufacturing to incineration, the CO2 emissions of GREEN CHIP CMF, containing 55% cellulose fiber, are expected to be reduced by approximately 35% compared with petroleum-derived ABS resin and by approximately 20% compared with petroleum-derived PP resin. (*1, *2). *Cellulose fiber functions as a reinforcing material, improving tensile strength, flexural strength, flexural modulus, and heat resistance (heat load deflection temperature) compared with unreinforced PP resin. This makes it possible to make molded products thinner and, therefore, contributes to weight reduction. *By adding GREEN CHIP CMF to recycled resin as a modifier, physical properties such as strength, elastic modulus, and heat deflection temperature can be improved, thereby contributing to increased use of recycled resin. *Despite containing 55% cellulose fiber, it achieves flowability equivalent to PP resin and delivers excellent moldability. Existing molds can be used, and the material exhibits low molding shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability. *1 Calculated in-house based on the results report of commissioned work to Osaka University by the Ministry of the Environment (FY2019). *2 Calculated in-house based on the Ministry of the Environment’s "Guidelines for the Utilization of Cellulose Nanofibers."

Resin Molding and Rheology: Session 2 "Classification and Types of Resins"

I will provide a detailed explanation of the types and applications of representative thermoplastic and thermosetting resins using diagrams!

Resin originally refers to a substance secreted by plants, and it is called "resin" in English. This synthetic resin has the general property of softening when heated, allowing it to be molded into any shape, which is why it is also referred to as plastic. The main raw material used to be coal, but since the 1950s, it has been replaced by petroleum. Currently, due to its versatility, it occupies an important position as a fundamental material, similar to steel, cement, glass, wood, and light metals. [Contents] ■ Resin and Plastic ■ Classification of Resins ■ Types and Applications of Thermoplastic Resins ■ Types and Applications of Thermosetting Resins *For detailed content of the column, you can view it through the related links. Teratec Construction Report: Step Plate

Solving problems caused by sinking and cavities! Case study of cavity filling in footings by Teratech.

We would like to introduce a case where the problems of sinking and voids under bridge approach slabs were resolved using the Teratec method. The "Teratec method" is a technique that fills the "voids" under bridge approach slabs caused by ground subsidence or groundwater, allowing for the restoration of road functionality to a healthy state in a short period of time. 【Problems Encountered】 On a national highway in Ibaraki Prefecture, voids had developed under the approach slabs due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The dimensions of the approach slab were 8m x 8m, with a maximum void thickness of about 10cm. Restoration was necessary for safety reasons. 【Reasons for Choosing Teratec】 - Short construction period, which reduces stress for road users due to traffic congestion. - The lightweight materials help suppress re-sinking. 【Feedback After Construction】 Traffic regulations allowed for alternating one-lane traffic, and the construction was completed in one day during daylight hours. The construction vehicle used was a 4-ton truck (L=5.6m). Compared to conventional methods, this was a small-scale project that was completed quickly. *For more details, please visit the external link page or feel free to contact us. https://teretek.jp/plus/case/bridge Toll-free number: 0120-873-835

Pursuing fluororesin, Meiko Industry | Wide-ranging support from small to large-scale production.

With three manufacturer functions, we provide consistent support from small quantities to mass production! Leave the molding and processing of fluororesin | PTFE, PFA, and engineering plastic products to us!

The three processes that are typically handled by separate companies—material manufacturing, processing, and molding—are completed by a single company. By conducting everything from material creation to processing and molding in-house, we can respond flexibly and swiftly to needs ranging from prototyping and small-scale production to mass production. Meiko Industry's "Three Manufacturer Functions" ★ Material Manufacturer Function This process involves compressing powdered fluororesin raw materials at high pressure and sintering them to produce rod-shaped fluororesin materials. While many processing manufacturers procure materials externally, Meiko Industry manufactures the materials itself. ★ Processing Manufacturer Function We perform processing such as cutting, slicing, and hollowing on the rod-shaped materials we manufacture in-house, finishing them into products tailored to specific applications and specifications. Our deep understanding of the material's characteristics allows us to achieve high-precision and high-quality processing. ★ Molding Manufacturer Function We melt bead-shaped fluororesin raw materials, pour them into molds, and cool them to solidify, efficiently mass-producing products of the same shape. This method excels in quality stability and reproducibility during mass production, offering cost advantages as well.
