Have you ever actually seen the "holographic display" that you occasionally see in the news lately? The holographic display, also known as a floating remote control, is a product that is gradually spreading in the market. It is a display device that projects images into space, resembling something out of science fiction. It can be operated non-contact for panels used by a large number of people, such as self-checkout kiosks at convenience stores or control panels in high-end restrooms. This is a crane controller for hoisting. We received a request from a product design company to design the controller's housing and internal mechanisms, as well as to create prototypes and mold data. Instead of operating with conventional up, down, left, and right buttons, this controller allows for intuitive operation by rotating the handle in the desired direction. It incorporates a rotation angle sensor, solenoid, and control board internally, ensuring a satisfying click feel and safety. This is a bone conduction type intercom. At the request of an automotive parts manufacturer, I was responsible for product design, concept development, detailed design, and prototyping. This is an earthquake-induced fire prevention device called a "sensitivity breaker." When an earthquake occurs, it automatically shuts off the breaker to prevent electrical fires after power restoration. A significant force is required to trip the breaker. However, the power from dry batteries cannot provide enough force to directly cut the breaker. This is a device that synthesizes and displays LCD (liquid crystal) images and actual gimmick images using a half mirror. Normally, it shows the LCD screen, but in the next stage, the LCD is stored inside, and the half mirror comes out instead. It is a presentation device that synthesizes and displays two elements—the gimmick in the back and the LCD image—on the swapped half mirror. Complex movements are performed using a single large cam gear. This is a robot designed for jewelry stores, featuring a torso (mannequin) that only includes the upper body. It wears necklaces and earrings, and when a person approaches, it quietly turns its face and chest towards them to showcase the jewelry. Our company is responsible for the 3D modeling of the exterior, which requires high design quality, as well as the assembly of parts that hide screws and components. We achieve a balance between a sleek shape and maintainability in the casing. It has two gears, one for the open side and one for the closed side, and these two gears swing around a sun gear to switch the sliding direction. This is a security box for tenant office buildings. It is an electric opening and closing box that manages the keys to the tenant entrance and exit in order to automate building management. The mechanism is simple. When the solenoid releases the lock on the door, the door opens slowly due to a spring and a silicone damper. When you insert the key and close the door, it locks mechanically. The innovative aspect is the standardization of parts. The system can accommodate up to 4 columns and 10 tiers, and it needs to be compatible with both right-hand and left-hand configurations. This is a fire alarm with earthquake detection. It is usually installed indoors as a fire alarm, and when it detects an earthquake, the LED lights up and can be used as a flashlight. We received a request from a sensor manufacturer who wanted to develop their own product but felt that their internal design engineers were insufficient. After receiving the project from the client, we incorporated their requests while holding meetings, and we handled everything from product design, casing, circuitry, to mold arrangement. The "Turnd K KL-W01" is a sterilization and deodorization device that uses photocatalysis. Unlike typical air purifiers that utilize filters or activated carbon, which require regular filter replacements, this product does not require any filter changes by utilizing decomposition through photocatalysis. Our company has collaborated on the design of some parts of the base housing and the blower fan section. Our team members have experience in the development of products like video decks, which has led to us being recognized for our mechanical and trick designs. I designed a small printer. The customer provided the thermal head, and I designed the head drive and paper feeding. This is a rehabilitation walker for the recovery of walking function, developed in collaboration with a chiropractic clinic. Based on the theory that "the coordination of the upper and lower limbs is important," the walker adds rotational movement of the upper arms to its functionality. It can function as a regular walker, but it is also designed to drive the front wheels using gears and a timing belt, allowing movement with just the motion of the upper arms. It has been used in actual rehabilitation at the chiropractic clinic, and improvements have been made over time. We designed a testing device that measures the power of eyeglass lenses and can hold the lenses while performing 5-axis movements. By freely moving the set eyeglasses or lenses in 5-axis directions, we measure the specifications after lens cutting. At the request of an optical equipment manufacturer, we have been implementing responses toward mass production while repeatedly designing and prototyping from the initial concept. To miniaturize the device, which is usually the size of a shoe cabinet, to a tabletop size, we are compacting it with a sturdy aluminum frame and high-precision motors and sensors. We designed the frame for a bone conduction intercom. It is intended for use in noisy environments such as construction sites. Unlike conventional intercoms (headsets) that use regular speakers, this intercom utilizes a bone conduction module, so we repeated several prototypes to refine the frame design, considering factors like pressure application. Additionally, we incorporated a feature that allows it to be disassembled in the center for portability, making it compact when carried. We created a simple mock-up along with design drawings to validate the fit. This is an audio chassis for professional recording studios. Our company is responsible for the design, planning, and manufacturing of the chassis. Due to the low production volume, we have managed to reduce costs while maintaining a sense of luxury in the product. The feature of this product is the "DSD-compatible 8-channel multi-track recording interface," which produces extremely high-quality sound sources.
