We received a request to increase the processing capacity per unit with the construction of a new building, and we proposed our top-performing upper drive bottom discharge centrifugal separator, the "MARKIII." Typically, the maximum processing capacity of this product in the largest size of 60×40 inches is 940L, but after discussions between our technical department and the customer, we designed it to increase the capacity to 1027L. We proposed and delivered the M-type centrifugal separator for degreasing cutting chips based on the request from Company N, a manufacturer of aluminum metal parts, who wanted to "dissolve aluminum cutting chips containing water-soluble oil in a melting furnace to reform aluminum." 【POINT】Degreasing rate 99.9% ■ Degreasing rate of water-soluble oil adhered to aluminum cutting chips: 99.9% They were considering using a rotary kiln to evaporate the water-soluble oil adhered to the aluminum cutting chips before feeding the chips into the melting furnace, but they consulted us about whether it could be degreased solely with the centrifugal separator, focusing on cost performance. We then received actual aluminum cutting chips from the customer and conducted a test degreasing using our centrifugal separator. *Test Results Degreasing operation time: 10 minutes Amount of chips fed: = 24.62 kg Amount of chips collected: = 24.01 kg (including 2.24 kg of chips in the basket) Amount of oil collected: = 0.28 kg After the customer burned the degreased cutting chips and measured the weight difference with the dry cutting chips, the oil content was found to be 0.1%. Degreasing rate from test results: 99.9% Based on these test results, they decided to implement the proposed M-type centrifugal separator for degreasing cutting chips.

We proposed the bottom-open type basket without a flange for the dewatering bag of our upper discharge centrifuge KMβ to Company O, a chemical manufacturer, who expressed the desire to easily extract crystals using an upper discharge centrifuge. In an upper discharge centrifuge, the operator must manually remove the solids. However, this is quite labor-intensive, and the difficulty increases if the solids are hard. Furthermore, when it comes to medium-sized machines around 42 inches, the solids to be removed can exceed 100 kg. To alleviate this heavy labor, we considered the bottom-open type of dewatering bag.

Considering the possibility of testing with very small sample sizes, we suggested a specification that allows for the installation of a basket from model LAC-400. This design enables adjustment of capacity based on sample volume and slurry characteristics, thus shortening test times. As a result of introducing our centrifuge, they reported that they can now conduct repeated separation tests with small sample sizes, leading to a significant reduction in the time required for condition setting. Regarding the detachment and disassembly of the basket for cleaning, traditional centrifuges require specialized knowledge and tools, but our LAC-2000 allows for easy detachment with general tools, which has also reduced the burden on operators. We received an inquiry from Company N, a manufacturer producing refined white sugar as a pharmaceutical additive, stating, "We are currently using an existing MARK 3 hydraulic machine, which is aging, and we are considering upgrading to an inverter type. However, since we operate 24 hours, switching from hydraulic to inverter with two motions will extend the production schedule due to longer start-up and braking times. We want to shorten the schedule as much as possible." In response, we proposed and delivered an inverter type with one motion instead of the existing two-motion scraper, as reducing start-up and braking times would cause it to stop due to overload. In terms of the movement of the scraper component: - In the case of two motions, the sequence is: engagement → descent → retraction → ascent. - In one motion, the sequence is: engagement → retraction only. By adopting one motion, we can shorten the production schedule. Our technical department calculated the time estimates for the one-motion setup, confirming that production could be achieved with a schedule nearly identical to the hydraulic system. We received an inquiry from Company O, a manufacturer of electronic materials, stating, "We want to automatically discharge crystals without exposure. Additionally, since the unit price of the product is high, we want to recover all of it." We proposed the all-recovery type centrifuge "FLOWM." [About FLOWM] While conventional top-discharge types allow for complete recovery, they pose a risk of foreign matter contamination due to the open state during product retrieval. Furthermore, the necessity for manual retrieval by operators increases their workload, consequently raising labor costs. On the other hand, fully automatic bottom-discharge types tend to leave residual crystals, making complete recovery difficult, and they are inferior to top-discharge types in terms of cleanability. This is where the cloth-inversion type centrifuge FLOWM comes into focus. The cloth-inversion type FLOWM eliminates the need for a scraping device, which is essential in fully automatic systems, by inverting the filter cloth to extract crystals, thus enabling complete recovery. [Case Study] We want to increase the processing capacity per unit in the construction of new buildings.

We proposed the MARKβ, a top-driven bottom-discharge centrifuge, to Company M, a manufacturer of chemical raw materials, which boasts the largest processing capacity in our company.

As a result of using our centrifuge, we have received feedback that both production efficiency and output have increased. Typically, the maximum processing capacity for the MARK 3 (top image) at the maximum size of 60-40 inches is 940 liters; however, after consultations between our technical department and the customer, we designed it to increase the capacity to 1027 liters. Additionally, to shorten processing time, we proposed a large scraping blade called the "1-Motion Scraper" that performs only the rotation motion instead of the usual two motions (up and down, rotation) and a "Scraping Air Blow" that uses high-pressure air to dislodge the crystals. **Features** - **Special Basket Design**: By designing a special basket size different from existing sizes, we increased the processing capacity. - **1-Motion Scraper**: Instead of the usual two motions (rotation and upward movement), we equipped a large scraper that matches the height of the basket, allowing for crystal scraping with just one rotational motion, thus achieving a reduction in scraping time. - **Scraping Air Blow**: By injecting air from the scraping device, we promote the dislodging of crystals with air pressure in addition to the usual scraping effect, further reducing scraping time.
