We are pleased to announce the official release of Semight Instruments' latest PXIe Source Measure Unit (SMU), the "S2019C." The S2019C is a high-performance model with four channels, supporting a wide output range of ±40V/±500mA (DC) and ±1A (pulse), and achieving high-resolution measurements of 1pA/1μV. This product is compatible with a variety of devices, including optical communication devices, power semiconductors, silicon photonics, MEMS, and sensors, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from research and development to mass production lines. The pyPicoSDK is built on the existing PicoSDK for engineers, developers, and amateurs, allowing for the creation of Python scripts that enable faster and simpler control of PicoScope devices. This new library extends the existing picosdk-python-packages and integrates driver functions for bulk handling. It also includes built-in helper functions that simplify the operation of PicoScope.
