"Carbon fiber" is a material said to have a strength ten times that of steel and a weight one-fourth of it. We utilize the characteristics of two types of carbon fibers with different raw materials: "PAN-based carbon fiber," which has high strength, and "pitch-based carbon fiber," which features high elasticity, for various applications. Most cases involve using carbon fiber not alone, but as a composite material combined with resin.
