Seamless molded products

Seamless ⇒ No joints ⇒ Completely molded

The photo shows a product that has been cut into two pieces. It can be confirmed that the ball is in the center. The iron ball was suspended in the center of the mold, and a seamless molded product was created using PP resin through injection molding. By suspending the insert ball in the mold and performing injection molding, there is no need for post-processing to ultrasonic weld or glue the two parts together. Since there are no seams, even if the inserted material is metal, it will not rust. Eliminating post-processing also leads to cost reduction!

Impeller (PEI) Ultem

Super engineering plastic Ultem (PEI) specification impeller

For medical pump impellers, considering transparency, chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and pressure strength, we are using amorphous super engineering plastic PEI for the housing and impeller, transitioning from reinforced glass to resin. We are thoroughly enjoying PEI molding from both the molding and mold production aspects through integrated production. We can accommodate PEI/Ultem molded products from 350t to 20t class, and we can handle prototype production. We support PEI/Ultem grades with glass fiber (GF) and carbon fiber (CF). We are currently mass-producing PEI/Ultem in the semiconductor field. We are currently mass-producing PEI/Ultem in the general industrial field. We have general-grade PEI/Ultem in stock. We can accommodate coloring for PEI/Ultem. We can handle thick-walled molding for PEI/Ultem. We can mold PEI/Ultem from a single piece. We can only accommodate prototype molding for PEI/Ultem.

Compression molding and disassembly mold (split mold) [*Presentation of examples of molded products*]

Since the extraction of assembled and molded products is done manually, it significantly reduces mold costs and allows for integrated molding of resin and metal parts!

At Five One, we respond to needs such as wanting to mold small quantities of 1 to 100 pieces, wanting to prototype, and wanting to mold with long-used molds that have their own quirks. The molds we handle from our customers are all ones that have been used for many years and have their own unique characteristics. We are confident that we are unmatched by other companies when it comes to handling such quirky molds. Here, we introduce the advantages of compression molding and the "broke mold" (split mold) that Five One specializes in. 【Advantages of Compression Molding】 - Low mold production costs → Reduction in initial costs - Materials that cannot be molded with injection molding machines can be molded → Increased strength - Less waste of molding materials 【Advantages of Broke Molds】 - Structure for product removal can be omitted → Reduction in mold costs - Integral molding of resin and metal parts is possible → High mechanical strength and enhanced functionality - It is relatively easy to make it a combined mold → Reduction in mold costs *For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Contract molding of stampable materials

Molding is possible at low pressure! Larger products can be molded compared to other molding methods.

Kiso Kogyo Co., Ltd. offers contract molding for stampable molding. In "stampable molding," thermoplastic fiber-reinforced plastic sheets are heated, set in a dedicated press machine, pressurized, and then removed after cooling to form. Since molding can be done at low pressure, it allows for the creation of larger products compared to other molding methods. 【Features】 ■ Achieves high impact properties and rigidity while being lightweight ■ Capable of molding large area, thin-walled products (panel size 2200mm x 1500mm) ■ Can mold shapes that are difficult to achieve with deep drawing in sheet metal pressing with strength equivalent to aluminum ■ Insert molding is possible *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Counterpressure method

This is a shrinkage prevention molding method for thick molded products that allows for a wide range of thickness settings.

"In general molding methods..." - When the wall thickness exceeds 4mm, deformation such as sink marks and warping occurs. - By adding foaming agents to the resin, sink marks can be prevented, but bubbles appear on the surface, creating swirl patterns and roughening the appearance. "With the counter-pressure method!" - A smooth surface of the molded product can be obtained, and due to excellent mold reproducibility, texture processing is also possible.
