Collaborative Robot Introduction Guide *Case study materials available

Are you giving up on the idea that automation is impossible? We are offering materials that explain the features, benefits, and examples of collaborative robots!

As a measure to address the increasingly serious labor shortage, many companies are considering "automation," yet we hear that it is often not realized. Are you facing any of the following issues that hinder your consideration of automation? ■ Due to small-batch, diverse production, batch sizes vary. It's difficult to achieve cost-effectiveness with robot implementation... ■ There is simply no space to place robots... ■ We have never implemented robots before, and it seems like it would take a lot of time and money to get started... Collaborative robots are designed to overturn the conventional wisdom of traditional industrial robots, which dictates that "humans and robots must work apart." These robots can be used safely in collaboration with humans without safety barriers. The concerns mentioned above may be resolved by effectively utilizing collaborative robots. *For more details, please download and read this introductory guide!

Collaborative Robot Case: Toyota Motor Corporation Hokkaido | Workpiece Loading into Processing Machines

Strengthening the "manufacturing capability" through the introduction of robots.

Overview: Toyota Motor Hokkaido, which manufactures parts such as transmissions and axles for Toyota vehicles in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido, has set "strengthening manufacturing capabilities" as a major theme. To improve the equipment in the differential pinion insertion process, they have begun constructing a robot system utilizing UR robots. As a result, they were able to build a robot system in-house that reduces costs and space compared to conventional methods, and improves the process operating rate from 92% to 98%. Challenges: Frequent transport issues, the need for adjustments based on the shape of the workpiece, and the requirement to work without causing scratches. After implementation: The process operating rate improved from 92% to 98%, changes to the workpiece can now be handled with programming adjustments only, and skills have been enhanced due to in-house production. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Introducing the delivery robot "SIGNAS"!

A transport robot with a new guidance system that is tape-less!

Our company is an authorized dealer of "SIGNAS." "SIGNAS (Singpost Navigation System)" is an autonomous transport robot that recognizes signposts using its built-in camera while navigating. Unlike AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) that require route tape and are commonly used in many manufacturing and logistics sites, it features a unique autonomous movement control system that realizes an unprecedented new guidance method. In today's work environments, while labor shortages are becoming increasingly serious, there is a demand for the automation of simple tasks and an improvement in the productivity of on-site staff. "SIGNAS" not only automates transport tasks that were traditionally performed by humans but also aims to enhance productivity through collaborative work with people. Additionally, it allows for route setting and changes without the need for special programming knowledge, making it easy and safe for on-site staff who are not familiar with robot operation to handle.

Exhibiting at Japan's largest machine tool exhibition "MECT2023" in 2023!

We will exhibit at Mechatrotech Japan 2023 in October! We will showcase a collaboration between collaborative robots and serving robots, as well as AI visual inspection!

The machine tool exhibition, which started in 1987, is held in the fall of odd-numbered years at Port Messe Nagoya in Nagoya City. It is the largest machine tool exhibition in Japan for odd-numbered years. The 2021 exhibition, which was the 18th in total, featured 426 companies and organizations (1,795 booths) and attracted approximately 70,000 visitors. *Excerpt from the official website* 【Exhibited Product Information】 ■ Collaboration between collaborative robots and serving robots to improve inter-process transport "SYNCRob" Do you want to improve inter-process transport? We at Sanki respond to many such needs. Until now, we have only proposed "just transporting" with serving robots, but we will handle the work (road/unroad) with collaborative robots. Would you like to achieve efficiency in the transport process, which is difficult to add value to, through the collaboration of serving robots (small AMR) and collaborative robots? ■ AI Visual Inspection Software "ROXY AI" Let's automate visual inspection from humans to robots!
