Free membership registrationOur company sells the "asymmetric cyanation catalyst" developed by Professor Okuma and others at Hokkaido University. This asymmetric cyanation catalyst is stable in air and easy to handle. This complex does not exhibit catalytic activity on its own, but by adding lithium sources such as lithium chloride, lithium carbonate, or lithium phenoxide to the reaction system, it forms a complex with lithium, demonstrating high catalytic activity and stereoselectivity. This catalyst can react not only with aldehydes and ketones but also with α,β-unsaturated ketones and aldimines, which have not previously been known to react efficiently, allowing for the easy and high-yield production of cyanides with high optical purity. The recovery and reuse of the complex are also possible. For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration■Improved Asymmetric Reduction Catalyst Asymmetric ruthenium complexes with optically active tosyl diamines as ligands are very useful as asymmetric reduction catalysts for ketones; however, sufficient enantioselectivity may not be achieved for bulky substrates. At Kanto Chemical, we offer an improved asymmetric reduction catalyst with modified sulfonyl groups that exhibits high enantioselectivity for bulky substrates. ■Triflate Catalyst By introducing dissociative anionic ligands into hydrogen transfer-type asymmetric ruthenium catalysts with arene ligands and tosyl diamine ligands, hydrogen is activated, allowing for more efficient asymmetric hydrogenation reactions of ketones compared to hydrogen transfer-type asymmetric reduction catalysts. The triflate catalyst does not contain strong bases, so the reaction proceeds under neutral to weakly acidic conditions. Therefore, it is useful for the asymmetric hydrogenation of unstable cyclic ketones, phenacyl chloride, α-hydroxyacetophenone, and other compounds under basic conditions. Free membership registrationAt Kanto Chemical, we have been selling "cross-linked hexaaryl bisimidazole compounds" developed by Professor Jiro Abe and others at Aoyama Gakuin University. We have now conducted new molecular design and commercialized PY-1, PR-1, and PB-1, which have entirely new molecular frameworks and exhibit photochromic properties under sunlight. Unlike the previously released HABI type, this product group shows good photochromic properties under sunlight. Additionally, by suppressing the residual of the coloring agent, we aim to enhance the speed of color fading and improve the repeatability characteristics. These compounds are colorless in toluene solution, but under sunlight, PY-1 turns "yellow," PR-1 turns "red," and PB-1 turns "blue," demonstrating rapid photochromic properties that quickly fade when sunlight is blocked. 【Features】 ■ High-speed photochromic properties ■ High durability ■ Reactivity under sunlight For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationReactions using organometallic complexes as catalysts are widely used in organic synthesis, but there have been cases where separating the target product from the catalyst after the reaction is difficult. Our company offers R-Cat-Sil (a metal scavenger with functional groups attached to silica gel), which allows for easy removal of metals. 【Features】 ■ High metal adsorption capacity due to large surface area ■ Does not swell and can be used with a wide range of solvents ■ Physically and thermally stable For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company is engaged in the domestic sales of products from the French company Solvionic. We handle two types of high-quality ionic liquids and four types of metal salts, which are characteristic of the company. ■ Ionic Liquids Compounds containing the representative anions "FSI anion" and "TFSI anion." ■ Metal Salts Sodium salts (NaFSI, NaTFSI) and magnesium salts (Mg(TFSI)2) are attracting attention as electrolytes for next-generation batteries such as Na-ion secondary batteries and Mg secondary batteries. For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIonic liquids are being explored and proposed for a wide range of applications, including separation, extraction, reaction solvents, electrochemical devices, tribology, vacuum technology, and bio-related fields, and are expected to be the next-generation solvents. Additionally, FSA-based ionic liquids have been increasingly studied as electrolytes for secondary batteries in recent years due to their superior viscosity and ionic conductivity compared to TFSA-based ionic liquids. 【Features】 ■ Extremely low vapor pressure (difficult to volatilize) ■ High ionic conductivity ■ Heat-resistant with a wide liquid temperature range ■ Non-flammable (difficult to ignite) For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.
