When instructing a computer to execute a program, it is generally done through command line instructions or by clicking icons. However, when considering a business system of a certain scale, the number of programs can reach several dozen or even hundreds. Manually starting them would be quite burdensome. Additionally, it is important to know whether the processing results are successful or not. Therefore, to automatically start these programs, Onnet Job Manager (hereafter referred to as OJM) is necessary. Our company built the prototype of OJM in 2008 and applied it to a certain company's production management system, automatically starting around 150 jobs (bundles of multiple programs executed as a unit) every day, resulting in significant labor-saving effects.
