I would like to write about the branding strategy that our company has been working on for about two years. Before that, I think it's necessary to explain the background, so I will write a little about it. In October 2023, we changed our company name from Matsumura Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to MATSUMURA Co., Ltd. During the Matsumura Machinery Manufacturing era, we were a specialized manufacturer of pipe end processing machines and delivered a considerable number of units domestically. Our machines are robust, and even now, machines that are the same age as I am are still in operation. While we manufactured and sold processing machines, we were also engaged in pipe processing, but due to various circumstances, we could not make that public at the time. We would like to introduce a case study of a long-length processing machine that was implemented at a company manufacturing chassis and body boxes for commercial vehicles. The company was facing challenges such as difficulty in securing work area, aging equipment, and the normalization of heavy labor and overtime. In response, we proposed the "FB-10000-8ATC-C" model, which can complete the processes of the cutting department, processing department, and parts assembly department with just one machine. As a result, the processing space was reduced to one-third, the number of processing workers was halved, and the workers who were previously engaged in processing moved to the assembly department, leading to more than double the work efficiency. Additionally, this contributed to an improved workplace environment and a reduction in turnover rates.
