The tilt angle sensor "SX42890 Series" is a standalone type inclinometer with a digital display. The sensor uses the SX42400 model, achieving high precision at a low cost. The SX42400 consists of two electrodes and an electrolyte solution between them. When the sensor tilts, the area of the electrolyte solution that is submerged changes, resulting in a change in capacitance. This change in capacitance is converted into a DC voltage, which is then processed by a microprocessor to calculate the tilt angle and display it on a digital screen.
