The InPro 5500i from Mettler Toledo has been developed for inline measurement of CO2 in the beer brewing and carbonated beverage manufacturing processes. It uses a proven thermal conductivity method to measure CO2 in liquids. This product features a unique combination of this established technology with simple operability and Mettler Toledo's proprietary Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) for preventive diagnostic functions. The pre-calibration feature of ISM and the "plug-and-measure" function enable rapid setup of the measurement system without generating errors. With the Dynamic Lifetime Indicator (DLI) and Adaptive Calibration Timer (ACT) functions, predictive maintenance can be performed, keeping the sensor in optimal condition at all times. The InPro 5500i demonstrates its effectiveness in maintaining the quality of beer and carbonated beverages and controlling CO2 costs by providing accurate CO2 measurements in critical processes.
